Today, on the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we are grateful and remember the tremendous sacrifices that were made that ultimately resulted in Allied forces victory against Nazi Germany. In recognition of the importance of today, we appreciated seeing our 1995 Hall of Fame recipient Christiane Amanpour and our 2024 Women Who Make a Difference recipient Anilore Banon talk this morning. Banon discussed her Les Braves, a major monumental sculpture installed on Omaha Beach since the sixtieth anniversary of D-Day. Its twin sculpture, Les Braves II, was installed at The War Memorial in Michigan.
